Is it just us, or does everyone else also miss the iconic MSN trio? There was a time when seeing Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar Jr. upfront struck fear among opponents. However, that era now remains a beautiful memory cherished by ardent fans, holding onto hope for a reunion. For Messi, that hope can turn into reality at Inter Miami, as he acknowledges that ‘life really changes.’

The revelation came in an exclusive interview for InfoBae with revered Argentinian journalist, Pollo Alvarez. As compiled by @psg__chief on X, Alvarez candidly asked Messi about the possibility of Ney reuniting with him and Suarez at Fort Lauderdale. Interestingly, La Pulga replied, “I don’t know but the truth is that it is difficult at the moment because Neymar is in Saudi Arabia now and he has one year left but life really changes so much that anything can happen.”

A subtle and diplomatic response from the Miami skipper. But we reckon that these words would be music to the ears of many fans. There is no doubt that the trio is meant to be together. After they left Barcelona, Neymar and Messi had a small reunion at PSG. But that lived for 2 years, as the Brazilian superstar went to Al Hilal while the Rosario man went to live the American dream. Aside from getting former Catalan comrades Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, Messi was reunited with Luis Suarez earlier this year.

However, now, Neymar might be the next Barca jewel to sign with the Florida-based club. In fact, not just his off-pitch activity, but also his candid assertion of his desire to reunite with Messi has been no less than fuel to the fire.

Neymar wants to play again with Lionel Messi

During Bahrain GP, Neymar was asked about the possibility of playing alongside Lionel Messi, and surprisingly, he gave more than an honest yes. “I hope so, I hope we can play together again. He’s a great person, everyone knows him. I think he’s happy [in Miami] and if he’s happy, I’m happy too,” said the winger. He isn’t alone as Messi also shares similar feelings. Neymar once disclosed a phone call he had with the 8x Ballon d’Or winner: “I spoke with Messi, and he asked me to come to Inter Miami.”

Furthermore, the rumor mill went up in smoke when the former Santos man was spotted with David and Victoria Beckham for dinner a few weeks ago. However, the Miami owner poured cold water on the rumors as while posting the picture on his social networks, he wrote, “Welcome to Miami, my friend 🩷 (only for dinner 😂).” Yet, earlier responses from Neymar and Messi don’t rule out the fact that there is a possibility of seeing the band back together. Fingers are crossed as fans await this development.
