Anything David Beckham does is special! Be it soccer or drama, it doesn’t take long to fall in love with the suave Englishman. His docuseries ‘Beckham’ was an instant hit amongst fans, with Netflix airing the player’s story earlier last year in October. The four-episode saga took the fans through some of the biggest moments of David’s career, displaying them to the fans from the player’s lens. Well, one of those moments has become a pop culture sensation, with the brief clip nominated for a prestigious award.
It’s David Beckham we are talking about. The man has everything one could wish for. From looks to personality, the Englishman has charmed almost everyone on the face of this planet. Becks showcased his witty humor during one episode of his docuseries in a funny banter with his wife, Victoria Beckham. While David Beckham came from a humble background, his wife seemingly had a privileged upbringing. So when Victoria made the mistake of calling her family middle class, her husband wasn’t letting that opportunity pass.
Turning back the clock, here’s what happened between the duo. Victoria, while talking to the camera during David’s docuseries, stated, “I think we both come from families that work really hard. Both our parents work very hard. We’re very working, working class.”

It didn’t sit down with David, who urged his wife to be honest. When Victoria did not budge from her stance, the ex-Manchester United midfielder asked his wife to tell the camera about the car her father used to drive her to school. Victoria tried avoiding the question before stating, “Okay, in the 80s, my dad had a Rolls Royce.” In response, David smiled towards the camera before uttering thank you as he walked out, closing the door on his way. Talk about a mic-drop moment!
Well, it seems the moment has taken the internet by storm, with the scene nominated for a TV BAFTA in the ‘Memorable Moments’ category. The couple has done a great job promoting the scene with Victoria Beckham, even launching a t-shirt to go with the memorable scene.
