With her recent statement of moving to America with her kids and brother, the Colombian singer has proved to her critics that she is financially independent too. Surprisingly, Shakira is worth much more than Gerard Pique, her ex-boyfriend. Through just her collaboration with Bizarrap, Shakira earned more than $2.5 million.

Everyone was aware of Shakira’s upcoming move to the US. Yesterday, the Colombian singer arrived at the airport with her two kids and Tonino, her brother. The four of them boarded a Learjet 60XR. Shakira and Pique had reportedly purchased the private jet together when they were dating. Valued at $20 million, the luxury private jet can carry up to ten passengers, as per La Vanguardia.

The former celebrity couple completely remodeled the interiors of the jet. The private jet has a bedroom with two large beds. It also has an oversized dining room and a TV room for Milan and Sasha. Whilst at the airport, the singer waved a final goodbye to her paparazzi in Spain.

Milan and Sasha will begin with their first day of school on April 11. The Latin American singer has got her kids admission to Miami Country Day, one of the top schools in the US. Her kid’s tuition fees will range from $33,000 to $46,000 per year. Interestingly, Gerard Pique has to pay half of the tuition fee, as per the separation agreement.

The luxury residence also has a 30 meters long private dock on Biscayne Bay. This allows the Waka–Waka singer to sail with her children whenever they want to. From the looks of it, Shakira and her kids are going to have the time of their life at this property. While the singer has successfully moved away from all the chaos, she is ready to start afresh with her children all over again.
