After his exit from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is flourishing with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. On the other side, the Red Devils led by Erik Ten Hag, have also moved on from the saga. But, the new owners plan to use the Al Nassr star’s exit as an example. Billionaire owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is going to do it to warn the other stars at the club.
At the moment, the Premier League giants will hope that they can improve in the second half of the season. However, the owners will have plenty of decisions to make about the long-term future of the club.

There are many examples that the Manchester United fans can show how the Glazers have messed it up. One of the recent examples was when they reportedly announced the Cristiano Ronaldo rule. It indicated that the Red Devils would not offer a weekly wage of over 200,000 pounds after the Ronaldo debacle. But, the club soon broke the rule. They signed Mason Mount on a weekly wage of 250,000 pounds. Now, after the takeover of INEOS led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club is planning to reintroduce the same rule.
It is one of the many more steps the minority owners will impose. They want to change their whole sporting structure. The changing wage structure will help them avoid problems with the Financial Fair Play(FFP). They are aware of the troubles their arch-rivals City and Everton are suffering. It could also help them move players easily should they not feature in the manager’s plans.
There is no doubt that Sir. Jim Ratcliffe is taking an enormous step as the part-owner. But, the reintroduction of the rule could benefit the Al Nassr star in the January transfer window.
