It has been just a few days since Messi landed in Miami. While he gradually tries to settle into the American lifestyle, the soccer star might have broken a rule in the process. Apparently, the player was driving on the roads of Florida while his car was being escorted by state police. Subsequently, after he arrived at a crossroads, the playmaker actually went through a red light. The video was recorded by his fans, who were waiting on the footpath to see him. However, what must be noted is that he deliberately jumped the red light.

This fan is blaming the police for not escorting the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner with full safety. Many insist, it’s quite dangerous for him to drive like this.

Likewise, fans couldn’t stop their laughs.

Certainly, Messi was lucky enough that the police were escorting him. If he had been alone, then the veteran would have received a ticket. Perhaps it might also be a part of a protocol that we might not know. While Messi may not have received a warning from the traffic department, he definitely got one from Inter Miami’s bar leader.

While the hype for Messi’s debut is off the charts, the player has seemingly received a warning from his new club’s bar leader. Cachito Cascardo recently addressed some safety concerns for his upcoming time in the MLS. He said, “Even though Leo is very good, it will be hard for him to play in the MLS. Here they eat your ankles. I don’t know if they play very well, but they run and run. They are very fast athletes.”

While highlighting the recklessness of the MLS players, Cascardo insists everyone will be looking for him on the pitch. Not just for getting a photo, but also to proudly boast that they ‘fouled Messi.’ Cascardo further added that Messi’s arrival in the MLS has revolutionized the league and the love of soccer among fans. “It’s crazy. Before it was soccer and now it’s football here”, he added. Indeed, we are already sensing some excitement before La Pulga has even kept his foot on the pitch.
