“Beyond Proud of You” – Megan Rapinoe Hails Her Ex-Soccer Player Twin Sister for Transforming Wellness Through Her Company

Megan Rapinoe is considered one of the greatest players in women’s soccer. Over the years, she has established her name concretely in the foundation of the soccer world. She has enjoyed a stellar career both on domestic and international terms and has won many accolades.

Besides this, off the pitch, she has earned quite a name for herself as she continues to be in the spotlight. She has really made her family proud, but many aren’t aware of her identical twin, who is also making quite a name for herself.

Aside from being a soccer star, Megan is also a brilliant entrepreneur. In fact, she has co-founded a lot of companies with her colleagues, including one with her twin sister, Rachael Rapinoe. Both are the co-founders of Mendi, a wellness company. Both sisters are quite fond of each other and constantly exchange compliments.

Hence, it was another day when both sisters had heartwarming words for each other. Recently, Rachael sat down for an interview with Alex Morgan and Sue Bird’s company, TOGETHXR. In the interview, she said kind words to her sister.

Emotional Megan then shared a small glimpse of the video on her Instagram story and hailed her twin sister with a heartwarming caption. “ I am Beyond Proud of You.” Moreover, she also wrote, “Her name is RACHAEL.”

Indeed, it was quite a heartfelt moment for both of them as they expressed affection for each other. But what did Rachael say to her USWNT star sister?

Rachael must be thrilled with what Megan had for her. The co-owner of Mendi hailed her sister’s achievements throughout her career. She said, “I do feel like with the name Rapinoe, there does come a certain expectation for greatness. I put pressure on myself. I don’t know if the outside world does, but I feel like with the weight of the name, ya know, I put pressure on myself to do great work and to make sure that I’m making an impact in my community,” she added.

She also introduced herself as the twin sister of Megan and described herself as a wellness advocate and community builder. Many of you might not be aware that Rachael was also a soccer player.

On a related note, both sisters have an estranged brother, who also inspired them to play soccer. However, things never tailored as their brother got into a drug addiction off the pitch. There is not much talk about their brother’s whereabouts, who is still in and out of prison. Nevertheless, it seems the sisters are doing quite well, as both continue to build their empires.
