The Welsh club advisor also mentions how Ryan and Rob’s attempts helped Wrexham achieve immense success.

Not to forget, the Hollywood stars generated over $9.5 million with the first season of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. With the increased profit, Wrexham is bound to have a Premier Season-like experience in their upcoming US Tour. While fans are hyped up for Wrexham’s clash with Manchester United and Chelsea, the Welsh club advisor, Shaun Harvey disclosed the club’s past failed attempts.

Harvey revealed that Rob and Ryan tried to boost the club’s global appeal by planning a US Tour. However, the Hollywood owners failed to pursue their US Tour plans because of COVID-19 travel restrictions. Harvey said, “There were a couple of attempts to get to the U.S. before its summer. In the first close season after Rob and Ryan had come in. ”

“But the travel restrictions due to COVID-19 were extensive, and it quickly became apparent it wasn’t going to be practical,” he also added. Despite failing to pursue their past plans, Rob and Ryan have finally organized the US Tour for the Welsh Club. Furthermore, fans are thrilled to watch their favorite club performance against top soccer clubs.
