Brooklyn, the son of English legend David Beckham, tied the knot with Nicola Peltz last year in April. The high-profile wedding ceremony took place in Palm Beach at Nicola’s family mansion. The couple received many luxurious gifts, with the gift from the groom’s father standing out of all.    

It was an auspicious occasion for the groom and his father, and the personalized gift from a soccer legend made it special. David Beckham, who named his elder son Brooklyn as a tribute to the US, gifted an electric car from a company where he holds minority stakes.

Beckham presented a luxurious electric car to the couple at their wedding. It was an electric Jaguar XK140 by British restomod firm Lunaz. The car cost $500,000, reportedly back in 2022 when the wedding took place. Interestingly, the former Manchester United legend brought 10% stakes in the British firm Lunaz in 2021.

A team of around 120 people worked for hours to complete the car that was presented to Brooklyn. The whole work took place in the base factory located at Silverstone. Lunaz’s team worked round the clock to ready the fully customized electric car before the ceremony. The car came with light cream color interiors featuring dials and switches that resemble the original one. 

However, the car came up with a variety of features along with the original dials and switches where modern instruments like battery gauges were installed. Personalization didn’t stop there. The car included a plaque with the initials of the newlyweds. Lunaz’s CEO was happy to serve the former LA Galaxy superstar as he is also an investor in the firm.

“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola, on their wedding day. In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolizes a bright, positive future,” said Lunaz’s CEO. Meanwhile, the wedding didn’t go according to the plans. Nicola’s family has sued the wedding planners over improper planning at the wedding.

Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding was an embarrassing and horrifying experience

Nicola Peltz’s family has filed a lawsuit against the wedding planners claiming back the deposit. The legal documents submitted revealed many inside details of the mishap at the wedding. The planners messed up with the guest list of both families. To take an example, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was not attending the wedding and was on the guest list of the ceremony.

The planners have filed a counterclaim, and they reported it with the lawsuit. Going ahead, more inside details of the wedding may come out. It might be an embarrassing moment for the Beckham couple. It will be interesting to see how the lawsuit pans out and what more detail comes out regarding the Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz wedding.
