The operation will take place in Doha. “A delay of three to four months is expected before his return to training.”
This timeline suggests that he will miss the remaining season. This is quite shocking for the Parisians, as they lost one player from their star trio. Moreover, it has made things tougher on the domestic front as well.
The club may have an eight-point lead over Marseille in Ligue 1. However, things might be difficult in the Champions League, as they’ll face Bayern Munich for the second leg of the round of 16.
They lost the first leg by a single goal and will be looking to make the best use of the situation. Christophe Galtier’s men will fly to Germany and play at Allianz Arena on March 9.
