Saviola said, “I think that the Barcelona team is incomparable and there will never be anything like it again, even though the current Argentina team is performing well and performing amazingly.”

Saviola also played for the Blaugarana from 2001 to 2007, netting 49 goals for the team. The former forward acknowledged the current achievements of the national team. Conversely, he also claimed that the Barcelona of the late 2000s was the greatest team and incomparable. The answer was for a question that asked if he preferred Messi from the current Argentina or the old Barcelona.
