On April 2nd, Shakira finally made her long-awaited move from Barcelona to Miami with her kids, ready to start a new chapter of their life. For the children, the move is certainly life-changing. However, the kids are reportedly feeling both sad and excited about the next chapter of their life.
Gerard Pique’s kids feeling “excited” about Miami
This relocation was definitely a game changer in their life, as the kids had to say goodbye to the land they have grown up in. This certainly has been a tough time for them and many of the fans were concerned about their future and how the kids would be bearing the impact of their parent’s separation.
Recently, Spanish journalist Lorena Vásquez has brought some respite by revealing that the kids have been looking forward to their new life in Miami. She revealed that even though they are sad not to see their father, their excitement for the change is overruling it all. “The children are very excited about their march and they live it with great enthusiasm,” the journalist said.
It is indeed heartwarming to see the strength of the kids, even through these tumultuous times. On April 11, the children will begin school, and they are already getting ready to adjust to their new surroundings. Shakira, however, may need to prepare a significant amount of money for her children’s education.

Shakira can expect to pay between $33,000 and $46,000 in tuition fees. Classes are likely to begin on April 11 following Easter break. These figures may seem large at face value; however, given the Colombian singer’s estimated net worth of over $300 million dollars, these expenses will be considered manageable.
