“Are You Coming to My House?” – Popular Comedian Shot Down Lionel Messi’s Efforts to Call Her to House Party During His Barcelona Stint

Everybody knows who Lionel Messi is now. The Argentine has built a commendable reputation as he has cemented his name in the soccer world. Today, anyone would hardly take a second to recognize the little magician. However, back in his young teenage days, many were still getting accustomed to Messi’s name.

Only a few who followed soccer were aware of the Argentine, as his meteoric rise in soccer had just begun. Hence, his infamousness back in the days once led a popular comedian to reject Messi’s house party invitation.

A popular comedian once rejected a party invitation by Lionel Messi

Famous Spanish comedian Susi Caramelo once revealed the anecdote of rejecting Messi’s efforts to call her to a house party on Movistar’s ‘Ilustres Ignorantes’ show. “Many years ago, I was going out with an uncle and one night we went to the Catwalk in Barcelona. And I was in the VIP area and I go to the bathroom and suddenly I find a boy and a girl and a little kid. And they said, ‘Well, Lionel, we’ll wait for you outside and decide what we do.'”

When she returned, she saw him and started teasing him by asking his name. “Your name is Lionel? Like the lionesas? And what do you like: cream, cream or chocolate?’ All in all, I’m leaving,” However, the conversation didn’t stop as La Pulga urged her to stay at the party as he exchanged smiles with her. When Messi asked her what she was doing, Caramelo responded that she was waiting for the guy who had accompanied her.

After saying this, she hears a bunch of people shouting Leo as they corner the Argentine. When she asked someone who the boy was, she got to know that the boy was the best player in the world, Leo Messi. Realizing whose invitation she has rejected, she replied, “Don’t f**k with me! I just told him that I’m with someone else.”

Sad Caramelo was near her car as Messi again approached and asked. “Are you coming to my house? We’re going to have a party, some friends are going. I would have left, because you are not invited to a soccer party every day. But do you know why I said no? I was so poor that if I go to that guy’s house, they won’t throw me out of there even with a red card,” she narrated his words. But Caramelo again turned down his approach.

After narrating this, she added, “But as they say, “you learn from mistakes”… and what if Susana learned from this: ‘I told her no because I didn’t have a penny, because if I went, how do I pay for the parking when I get back? Anyway, this is the story of how I rejected Leo Messi. I missed the train.”

Caramelo then laughingly revealed the worst thing that happened days after it. The man she was with left her. “Of course, I don’t miss one more. I know who Tamudo is now,” she concluded. Indeed, it was yet another unheard anecdote about Messi that we heard. Perhaps Caramelo must be regretting her decision to pass on his invitation.
