Most of the teams have concluded their group stages. Speaking of Group A, the UAE’s Al Ain topped the group with 15 points. But the spotlight has been shifted towards the second-placed Al Fayha, as they shocked their critics by qualifying for the round of 16. In fact, one of the bosses of Al Fayha, Dr. Ali Malibari, asked all the doubters to ask for forgiveness. Mr. Malibari said, “All media professionals who doubted Al-Fayhaa Club’s ability to qualify for the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League must apologize without shame.”

Indeed, it is quite a bold statement from an official of Al Fayha. Notably, Al Fayha finished the group with nine points, as many in Saudi Arabia doubted their qualification. Nevertheless, they will be looking to further defy the odds. They are buzzing with so much confidence that they want to face Al Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo in the next stage of the competition.
