With Lionel Messi performing well in his last three outings, the pressure will be on Dallas FC. Playing a sold-out game on home is never easy, and considering the amount of support Inter Miami could get in the away game, Dallas seemingly has lost their home advantage.

However, the players in Dallas are not worried about Lionel Messi. During an interview, multiple Dallas FC players talked about the importance of the game. While the players mentioned it’s great for the league with Messi coming in, their focus has been on winning the game and moving ahead in the tournament.

“We see him as another opponent in our path. We have our ultimate goal, and that is to become the champions of this new tournament. Umm, Inter Miami is going to come here and try to knock us out. This is our home. We have to respect them. But at the same time, but need to make sure that we knock them out.”

“Yeah, Miami is coming, and it’s gonna be a great game. Yeah, Messi’s coming. Obviously, it’s great for the league. The first time he is playing away, so it’s no surprise that tickets will be sold out. There will be different colors in the stadium, but for us, it’s all about winning and all about competing and trying to win the championship.”

Inter Miami will have to be on the top of their game if they wish to get past the challenge from Dallas FC. A win over Dallas will take Miami to the quarter-finals of the League Cup.
