Beckham recently was in the French capital to reflect on the last days of his professional soccer career. The trip served to bring back the fondest memories of his time with the Parisians.

On May 18, 2013, David Beckham played his last professional soccer match. The final match took place at the Parc des Princes against Stade Brestois. Now, 10 years later, Beckham took time to reflect on this iconic moment. Beckham recently took to Instagram to share a video of him standing in the middle of the venue, the site of his $3.2 billion ex-employers.

Along with the video, the soccer legend also penned down a heartfelt message, that read “10 years since I played the last game of my professional football career. Being at Parc des Princes with PSG brought back such incredible memories of a special time and an emotional moment”. The message was a special reminder of the time Beckham spent with the $3.2 billion worth French club.
Beckham had a distinguished career as a soccer professional. Having started in 1992 at Manchester United, he also made a name at Real Madrid, Milan, and the U.S. Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. But his days with the Parisian club were special. His brief stint at PSG served as the last days in soccer for the Englishman.
Now that he is enjoying retirement life, his son Romeo Beckham seems to be carrying on his legacy. However, David Beckham recently snubbed his son’s first trophy victory in his career to watch his former club play. And it was not PSG.

Romeo Beckham, son of David Beckham, is on loan from Inter Miami and playing for the U-21 team of Brentford. On Tuesday night, Romeo was in the Premier League Cup final where his side emerged victorious. Even though he didn’t receive any playtime in the match, it served as a huge milestone, as it was his first professional title.
However, his father and younger brother were not present at the venue for this momentous day.

On the same day, David and Cruz Beckham were watching the first leg of the UCL semi-final match between Manchester City and Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Clearly, Beckham values his old club playing an important game.
