Sportswear giant Nike has become the internet’s newest punching bag. The brand’s concept for Team USA’s Track & Field team did not sit down with many fans who blasted the company over the designs. Many were unhappy with the latest designs, while others labeled them as uncomfortable for female athletes. Amidst the recent flak, the company might have found a glimmer of hope from the one and only; Cristiano Ronaldo!
Significantly, Nike is the official kit designer and producer for Portugal’s national soccer team. The Selecao took to their official X handle earlier tonight as they posted a series of images with the players donning the new kit as the team prepares for the Euros. Cristiano Ronaldo is once again the star of the show with the player’s head and center in the promotions. Fans seem quite pleased with the design and have nothing but praise for Nike’s design.

The kit’s base color continues to be a vibrant red with black around the borders. Nike’s logo remains on the right side, while the Portugal national crest sits tall on the left side. The away kit takes a rather different approach than the simplistic yet clean design of the home kit. Nike has used a prism design on the kit’s base with a light blue color adorning the edges and patterns.
The keeper kit draws inspiration from the old wave kit with the shirts taking a similar approach with blue and a lighter shade of blue used as the base colors. A large section of Cristiano Ronaldo’s fans have been vocal about the spectacular design praising Nike for the brilliant work. The brand will surely be happy with the influx of positive responses considering the negative response over the USA’s track and field outfit.

Que coisa tão linda,
This is the new Portugal 2024 away shirt and the last one by Nike. What a way to bow out. This may not be the dri-fit adv version but it's still top draw.
