Amid Potential Legal Trouble From Gerard Pique on Latest Song, Shakira Set To Collaborate With the ‘Queens of Hip-Hop’ Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, As per Reports

Shakira’s music career has taken her to the highest degree of success. This year she has really excelled with back-to-back hits. Shakira started with the two diss tracks she released against her ex-partner Gerard Pique in “BZRP Music session #53” with Bizarrap and “TQG” with Karol G.

Following this up is her latest track ‘Acrostico’ which she dedicated to her two children. However, this song has caused some drama due to possible legal actions from her ex. All-in-all Shakira has not ceased to provide her fans with hit music. Now in a move that is sure to please the fans, Shakira is reportedly set to collaborate with two of the biggest female stars in hip-hop, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Shakira set for some big collaborations

According to Pop Stuff Twitter account, Shakira is rumored to release a song with Nicki Minaj this summer. According to the reports, the song will be entitled Tu Perdida and is registered with BMI. However, that’s not all there is to this.

A fan on Twitter made quite an interesting discovery. After a fan checked the BMI Id made an interesting discovery not involving Minaj, but Cardi B. Fan speculation arose when an ID search on BMI of the song revealed a different title, “Estoy Lamida,” and included Cardi B as part of the collaboration. The news of Shakira’s potential collaboration has left many fans in a state of confusion.

This has left speculation whether The Latin singer is only collaborating with either of them or fans of Shakira could see collaborations with both the ‘Queens of Hip-Hop’. At the moment, neither side of the collaboration has released any confirmation of the projects.

Gerard Pique could take legal actions

Recently, reports have surfaced of disagreement between Shakira and her husband Gerard Piqué over the decision to feature their children in her new music video. Reports claim that Gerard Pique is angry due to not being consulted before including their sons Milan and Sasha in the ‘Acrostico’ video.

Popular journalist Jordi Martin was quoted as saying that “(he) is fuming, and on Tuesday (May 16) he met with his lawyers to take action on the matter”. As of yet, no official action has been taken on the matter. Nevertheless, it appears to be a dispute that is still ongoing.
