Neymar launched his project “Ney en alta Mar” (Ney on the high seas), some months ago. This consists of a lavish 3-day cruise trip that includes extravagant parties, DJs, and the opportunity to enjoy with Neymar himself. The news has seemingly been confirmed by Neymar via Instagram where he posted a story with the caption ‘Ta Chegandoooo’ which translates to let’s go. The ship is set to leave Santos on December 26 and fans of Neymar are quite excited by the opportunity.

‘Ney en alta Mar’ has been labelled as the first Athlete cruise in the world. The journey will be from Santos in São Paulo to one of the most popular tourist destinations in Brazil, Búzios. Also, there is no shortage of entertainment with casinos, bowling, gaming rooms, 4D cinema, water park, spa, gym, and more on board. Interestingly, the trip seems to have been planned in March, way before Neymar’s season-ending injury. Therefore, this seems to have been a long-term plan for the Brazilian.

While the Brazilian talisman is enjoying life off the pitch, he would surely be hoping for better luck on the pitch. Especially, considering the latest reports on his recovery.

No respite from injury woes for the Brazilian

As per the latest reports, Neymar will not be able to take part in Copa America 2024. Being a tournament, that he has not won to date, the Brazilian No 10 will be disappointed. While Al Hilal seems to be doing well despite his absence, Neymar will be frustrated at not being able to help out the team. After all, considering his manner of exit from PSG, the attacker would have had a point to prove. Yet, it looks like Neymar will have to wait to display his brilliance on the field.

However, the injury also offers him the chance to rest and reset. With questions about his future in the national team, the former Barcelona man will want to work on his fitness. After all, that is the only thing holding him back. In terms of talent, very few can match the former Santos prodigy.
