Out of all the soccer players in the world, some players play stunningly for their clubs. On the other hand, some players play their best in an international jersey. Thus, to have a mix of both is rare. One player, though, excelled at both club and national levels without any decline in quality. That is Cristiano Ronaldo. He is one of the best in output for both club and the national team setup. Although every player remains committed while donning their national jerseys, Ronaldo takes it up a level notch. And now, he has done something that would excite the fans.
Amidst the injury he suffered in Al Nassr’s match against Ettifaq, the player will now play the next national game. It shows the superhuman commitment he has while playing for Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo will play for Portugal amidst injury concerns

The new head coach Roberto Martinez has expressed his desire to keep Cristiano Ronaldo in the national set-up. Hence, he received a call-up to participate in the Euro 2024 qualifiers for the national team. Portugal will face Bosnia on June 17th, while the second match will be against Iceland on June 20th, according to BESoccer.
The squad looks fresh and ready to compete with no injury concerns apart from CR7. Significantly, the forward suffered an adductor muscle injury in the final minutes of the game.

The upcoming two friendlies thought will be crucial for Ronaldo’s career. It would be the 199th and 200th game of his career. He will become the first player to reach 200 caps for his country, as it is not a straightforward achievement. In those 198 caps, Ronaldo scored 122 goals and created 43 assists. Hence, the sensational Portuguese forward aims to create more records in his illustrious career.
But when it comes to Al Nassr, things have not gone as planned. The sensational soccer player also wants an exit from the club and would end up trophyless for the first time in his career. It’s hard to imagine Ronaldo without a trophy.

Al Nassr will end the season trophyless
They drew their game against Ettifaq and ended their chances of winning the league. Instead, Al-Ittihad won the league, with a game to spare. Ronaldo scored 14 goals after arriving in January and it became one signing of the season. But ending the season trophyless is something he did not expect. Thus, Ronaldo’s future in the league is in doubt.
