The 2023-24 season appears to have taken the sweat out of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Al-Nassr captain bore the burden of bringing titles to the club but could not do it despite his best efforts. His team conceded the Saudi Pro League to Al Hilal recently after a relatively easy fight. However, the striker has now claimed to have turned to relaxation mode with family.

According to a Ronaldo fan and X (previously Twitter) account Elia Maria VL, the Portuguese was seen hanging out at a restaurant in Riyadh. Ronaldo’s five children and Georgina Rodriguez were having a meal in the picture posted. He and his partner have been on a chilling spree this year after more than a year of moving to the Middle East. However, the club still lingers this season without a trophy, much to the fans’ disappointment.

The ‘Knights of Najd’ did not manage to win a single trophy this season. Despite competing for the league title, a drop in a few crucial points coupled with the brilliance of Al Hilal resulted in conceding, a couple of days ago. Al Nassr went on a 20-game unbeaten streak yet fell short by a 12-point difference. But Cristiano Ronaldo did not withhold his performances in the season and is the favorite to win the Golden Boot.

Meanwhile, scoring 33 goals and providing 10 assists in 28 matches, Ronaldo did not have much backup except Anderson Talisca. However, Talisca was later ruled out for the whole season because of a thigh injury. Additionally, the 39-year-old himself suffered a few scares with a calf issue earlier this year. But, it appears so that the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner is not hesitant to take those much-needed outings. The couple has been on multiple vacations this season with a trip to the Red Sea and gateways nearby. However, the Al Nassr star is desperate to salvage the only remaining trophy for the season after a hard-fought season.

Cristiano Ronaldo gears up for revenge

With all the issues surrounding the last few months, the former Real Madrid player has a lot of accounts to settle with Al Hilal. Firstly, Al-Nassr hasn’t won a single official game against them this time. Additionally, the club’s fans tried to unsettle Cristiano Ronaldo this year by chanting his rival Lionel Messi’s name during the two giants’ clash. Now, the Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou who denied Portugal a World Cup semifinal birth in 2022 has challenged the star yet again.
