Erling Haaland makes a tough choice
Every goal for a striker holds a special place in his mind. It becomes difficult to name one specific favorite goal. That’s what happened with Haaland when the reporter asked about his favorite goal. However, the reporter made it easier for the Norwegian by giving him two options. He asked Haaland to choose between a hat trick against city rivals Manchester United and a crucial goal against Arsenal.
“Both amazing feelings. But, now I have to take that hat-trick, I think,” Haaland responded. The Norwegian has scored 36 goals this season in the Premier League. In the process, the former Dortmund striker notched four hat-tricks. One of those came against Manchester United on matchday nine. Haaland was in a sensational form in the game, and keeping in mind the rivalry between two Manchester clubs, his choice was appropriate.
Proud and humbled to become the first-ever footballer to win both the Premier League Player of the Season and Premier League Young Player of the Season. Thanks to my family, fans, teammates and the whole staff for this! 🏆 ➕ 🏆 @ManCity @premierleague pic.twitter.com/nwJC1YTmhs

Haaland will next face United in the FA Cup final on June 3. He will hope to replicate the form again and win another trophy with the Cityzens after winning the league. Manchester City is striving for a treble this season, with the first UEFA Champions League trophy in sight. If they beat United in the FA Cup final and Inter Milan in the Champions League final, City will become the only team after Manchester United to achieve the European treble. The potential treble can make Haaland a strong contender for Ballon d’Or.
