It has been a rough period for Brazil, especially for their star player, Neymar Jr. Their recent draw against Venezuela in the World Cup qualifier has flamed many questions and raised concerns about the performance of the Al Hilal star. On top of that, Brazil is still searching for a new manager. And now, their ideal candidate, Carlo Ancelotti, has finally given his verdict, adding more uncertainty to Brazil’s situation.

Ancelotti took over as Real Madrid’s manager in 2021 and led the team to win their 14th UEFA Champions League title. This season, Los Blancos has been performing exceptionally well and currently leads the La Liga table. Reports have also been circulating that the 64-year-old may leave Madrid to take on the managerial role for Brazil.

However, Ancelotti recently addressed these rumors in his talk with Radio 1. He stated, “Agreement with Brazil? It’s all about rumors, links… I feel very good at Real Madrid as things stand.” The 64-year-old further assured, “We started our season in excellent way and we hope to keep going at same level”.

While Ancelotti’s statement may provide some relief for Real Madrid fans, the situation for Brazil remains uncertain. However, Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire in 2024. Also, the president of the Brazilian Fotball Confederation has earlier stated Ancelotti will take over as manager before the 2024 Copa America in the United States.

For Neymar, the uncertainty surrounding the managerial position adds to the pressure he is already facing. The draw against Venezuela has drawn criticism and raised concerns about his performance.
