The legal struggle against NWSL
They said that the rules of the NWSL league are unequal. Apparently, the league does not allow players below 18 years to sign a contract with the league. According to her family, this is against another law known as the Sherman Antitrust Act. They argue the MLS league allows signatures of contracts with players at 14 years old. The Moultrie family would like to take the case to challenge the NWSL’s restrictions on the signing age.
