Speaking on the daughter’s first words after the loss, Alex Morgan said, “She was asking me after the last game why I was sad and why I was crying. She said I did a really good job.”

She has also revealed the difficulty she faced to match the demands of international soccer. She said that she took her time to return to soccer. But, the 34-year-old focused on her anticipation and positioning to make herself effective as a forward and improve her game.

However, unfortunately for her, in 4 appearances, she failed to score a goal. Her focus will be now to impress the new manager, Emma Hayes. She will look to focus on the 2024 Olympics and restore parity.
