One example was the interaction of star striker Alex Morgan with her daughter after the team lost a match. After the loss, the 34-year-old disclosed that she went to embrace her daughter Charlie. Speaking on the daughter’s first words after the loss, Alex Morgan said, “She was asking me after the last game why I was sad and why I was crying. She said I did a really good job.”

The episode further revealed the forward enjoying her time with her family after the World Cup disaster. Alex Morgan mentions that she loves spending time with her family, as they are the only ones who don’t judge her for her on-field contributions. However, the veteran forward does mention that the team must know that they remain the leaders and pioneers of the sport on the field.

Alex Morgan also spoke on her journey back to the squad after the birth of her daughter. She revealed her arduous journey and said how she adapted a new playing style. But the road to success was not straightforward!

Before this, Alex Morgan had to get back to full fitness and prove herself to get back into the team after the birth of her child, Charlie. She has also revealed the difficulty she faced to match the demands of international soccer. She said that she took her time to return to soccer. But, the 34-year-old focused on her anticipation and positioning to make herself effective as a forward and improve her game.

However, unfortunately for her, in 4 appearances, she failed to score a goal. Her focus will be now to impress the new manager, Emma Hayes. She will look to focus on the 2024 Olympics and restore parity.
