Mitrovic, 29, has seen a lot of growth on the pitch in the past few years, even though he often went under the radar. Notably, due to this, the Serbian was not completely satisfied in England with moderate earnings. Mitrovic was estimated to be worth around $10 million in 2022 while playing in the Premier League. However, after the deal in Saudi Arabia came his way, the player is estimated to be worth around $60 million, according to reports.
Additionally, the player receives a fee of approximately $531,000 per week. Al Hilal bought Mitrovic from Fulham, resisting quite a bit of force from the London club. Fulham rejected an apparent offer of $32 million for the star. The West London club had signed the player from Newcastle United for $28 million in 2018.
Mitrovic was already unhappy at Fulham when they demanded a large transfer fee, hindering him from joining the Saudi club. The Al Hilal striker was hardly earning $152,000 per week, which he thought was below par for his ability. Nevertheless, despite Fulham being ready for an increase in the cap, Mitrovic chose to leave for the Middle East.

The player was brought in just for $56 million for a three-year contract, in contrast to Neymar, who was brought in for roughly $97.5 million transfer fee. However, it is the Serbian, along with teammates Malcom and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who have proved indispensable, with Al Hilal having 59 goals in just 20 SPL games.
