Cristiano Ronaldo’s front-end success takes a lot of effort behind the scenes. The Portuguese captain sets himself above everyone when it comes to being fit and does not indulge in time-wasting to keep improving. After finishing 2023 with 54 goals, Al Nassr’s nutritionist brings to light the star’s competitiveness amongst the other athletes.
The fate of the Saudi Pro League has changed since the arrival of the superstar. Many elite players from European clubs joined in, but on the other hand, the player has also proved to be an example inside the team, as his nutritionist claimed.

José Blesa is Al Nassr’s nutritionist who joined a couple of seasons ago after working with various professional stars. But he could hardly imagine working with the most famous one in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Marca, Blesa said, “I have to say that Cristiano takes to another level the good work and is an object of study of what to do and how to do it to get to have a performance of the highest level with an age in which the majority are retired years ago.”
Ronaldo’s good work includes both on- and off-field practices for 3–4 hours five days a week. On the field, the star trains to improve his skills and speed, which is preceded by a regular warm-up. And the off-field practices include intense workouts in the gym, followed by methods to cool down.
But most importantly, the player has a very strict diet and nutrition, which form his core values. Ronaldo is known for his high-protein, low-fat, and zero-processed diet. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner eats lean meats and vegetables regularly. However, the player recently revealed having pizza, but it could possibly be a very odd cheat day. Hence, Blesa, after working with professional golfers, basketball players, paddle tennis players, and boxers, feels that Ronaldo is the greatest influence in terms of doing the right things to meet his goals.
