Al Nassr suffered a few significant concerns this year. Building a super team by acquiring the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and former Liverpool giant Sadio Mane, it was expected to win a few tournaments. But some disappointing losses and irregular squad updates hampered their league and continental title run. However, with only the King’s Cup up for grabs, it finally has a positive on the injury front.

After a series of injuries throughout the year, the club may have got back most of the players. According to the latest reports, Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca could be ready for Al Nassr before the King’s Cup final. It is also suggested that the club’s coach, Luis Castro, is optimistic about his improvement since there is some time left.

Castro is reported to have said, “There is a month left until the final.. so I do not know who will be ready then.. and it is possible that Ghareeb and Talisca will prepare before facing Al Hilal in the cup final.,” boosting fans hope of winning the King’s Cup.

On the other hand, Talisca has been an unsung hero for Cristiano & Co. until his injury. The winger suffered a thigh injury in early March during the training before the club’s AFC Champions League game against Al Ain. Even though Talisca claimed it to be “very stupid and simple,” the star knew the impact would be huge as Al Ain knocked the club out in the quarterfinal. In addition, the player announced that he’d be out for the rest of the season, promising to “be stronger next season.”

Meanwhile, Talisca proved his worth by scoring whenever the team needed him to, especially as a backup for Ronaldo. He scored 25 goals in 25 games, helping the club in yellow stay in contention for the league and ACL titles he was there.

Can Cristiano Ronaldo keep his promise?

No other person would be happier with the return of Talisca than Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite their recent strength, Al Nassr will face a mighty Al Hilal in the King’s Cup final. The midfielder’s return could help Cristiano keep his word. Ronaldo earlier stated that he would win titles for the club but may go trophyless if they lose the final to Al Hilal.

On the other hand, Ronaldo will also try to win the rest of the league games and hope for an unlikely Al Hilal stumble. With 41 goals already in the season, CR7 is on the verge of breaking a few records in Saudi. But will he be able to take his team to victory this season? Let us know in the comments.
