Mohamed Salah might be back on Saudi League giant Al Ittihad’s radar soon. Al Ittihad had earlier tried to poach the Egyptian in two transfer windows. But Liverpool nipped those attempts in the bud. However, Liverpool now seems open to parting ways with Salah. The 31-year-old has a contract with Liverpool that runs till 2025. But it is not beyond both parties to walk out of the deal this summer.

As per transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Liverpool is planning to sell Mohamed Salah this summer, if a contract extension negotiation fails. Konur added that Liverpool will attract offers north of $108 million to sell the 2020 UEFA Champions League winner. A deal north of $108 million is a walk in the park for Al Ittihad which is famous for its deep pockets. Besides, their prior offers to Salah are significantly higher than the sum Liverpool is expecting now. Konur also confirmed that Al Ittihad is still interested in the Reds superstar.

Courtesy of fans’ and media’s intense scrutiny and hostility, Benzema had mulled leaving the Jeddah-based club for Europe in the January window. Though he kept the idea aside, he is now struggling to make a mark with the team. The 5x UEFA Champions League winner has failed to score a goal since December.
