The plans are aligned with his Saudi endeavor as he reportedly seeks to extend his contract with Al Nassr. The world-class duo – Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will soon share the stage in America. If all goes according to plan, Ronaldo will see a return to the States after 12 years.

Saudi signed Neymar in this summer transfer window, he’s another world-class talent who is now spending his days in Riyadh. However, there are rumors surrounding the Brazilian international as he eyes the biggest glory in the soccer sphere.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been vocal about his desire to play at the top level until his legs give up. He has said that he still has the same love for the game and it pushes him to compete at the highest level. To further cement his plans, CR7 has reportedly asked Al Nassr to extend his contract.

A source close to Al Nassr has revealed that the Portuguese winger has asked Al Nassr to extend his contract till 2027. This decision could be in a move to solidify his starting position and also to keep his fitness level at the top for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the USA. The Al Nassr captain is eyeing the biggest glory in the soccer sphere just like Neymar. CR7 ultimately plans to retire in 2027.

It was in 2014 that the Portuguese winger last visited the United States. The 38-year-old last visited the States in 2014 during Real Madrid’s pre-season tour. Real Madrid played against Manchester United in a pre-season friendly. CR7 hasn’t since been able to visit the country citing a few complications.
