This year has been quite a turnaround for Wrexham AFC. The Welsh club has achieved a different kind of success under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The Hollywood stars led the side to emphatic glory as they clinched promotion to the Football League. While his club continues to celebrate its massive victory, Reynolds is looking to play another poker game with another sports franchise, namely the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.
The Canadian actor has been looking to broaden his horizons and is eager to join the team. The Senators have been on sale for quite a while, and many bidders have sent their best proposals. Reynolds is also among the bidders but faces heavy competition from other potential buyers. However, terrible news has struck Reynolds, as he has received a huge setback in his pursuit of the Senators.

The tug-of-war for the Senators has been going on for quite a while. The pocket-filled aristocrats are looking to spend a fortune on the team. Thanks to his recent billion-dollar deal to sell his mobile company, Reynolds has doubled his net worth. This gave him enough confidence to put all his cards on the table.
However, in his desperate pursuit of the NHL team, Reynolds has suffered a huge setback. According to various sources, his deal is not moving forward. All the interested buyers had to submit their final nonbinding offers by May 15. However, his request to complete the process has been denied, thus leading Reynolds to step back from the race.

While this is terrible news for Reynolds, his other competitor, Snoop Dogg, gets a major boost, as he is showing aggressive interest in the team.
