Wrexham secured a 1-0 triumph over Tranmere Rovers in League Two at Prenton Park this Saturday. Aaron Hayden’s lone goal ended the stalemate for the National League champions in the game. The visitors were dominant in the first half of the match, with 46% possession and 23 shots against the 21st-positioned club in League Two.

However, it took the 56 minute for the Red Dragons to score the decisive goal. Wrexham moved to 13place in League Two with nine points in six games. The coach and the co-owners were deeply impressed with the outstanding performance of the team. In the meantime, The Red’s fans were eagerly anticipating an ecstatic performance when they face Newcastle United U-21 in the Football League Trophy this upcoming Wednesday.
