He scored four goals and created one assist for Lincoln City, who plays in EFL League One. Therefore, it could be a fresh start for the midfielder, who can make a difference to the Welsh soccer club. 

Virtue is one of the best talents out there for Wrexham, having experience playing for Liverpool in his youth career. He failed to appear in a Liverpool jersey, but having been a part of the big club would help the lads in the dressing room. Jacobs explained to TalkSport, “From the things that I’m hearing, there is a possibility that Wrexham might move for Matty Virtue, who is a 26-year-old midfielder at Blackpool. That could be one to watch. He spent last season on loan with Lincoln and did pretty well.”
