After the Spaniard defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev at the US Open, the lifelong Real Madrid fan belted out the fan favorite Jude Bellingham celebration. Alcaraz’s actions have since taken the internet by storm considering this comes days after Alcaraz praised Bellingham for his maturity.

Carlos Alcaraz copies Real Madrid star’s celebration after thumping US Open QF victory

Earlier today, Carlos Alcaraz locked horns against Alexander Zverev in what was an entertaining encounter for the neutrals. Despite the pressure, the defending US Open champion calmly brushed past his German counterpart with utmost ease. Alcaraz won the match 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 and acquired 98 points in this process.

After winning the match, the Spaniard much to everyone’s surprise pulled off Jude Bellingham’s viral open-arms celebration. Soon after, Alcaraz took to ‘X’ to post his tribute celebration with the caption – “Hey Jude!”. Heartwarmingly, the appreciation was quickly matched by Bellingham when he praised the Spaniard for his stamina and wished him luck for the tournament. “What a machine! Keep going mate,” replied the Englishman. 

Interestingly, this celebration by Alcaraz comes days after the Spaniard openly expressed his admiration for the latest Real Madrid sensation. Alcaraz even went on to call Bellingham amongst the best in the world.

“One of the best in the world” – Alcaraz showers praise on Jude Bellingham

A few days ago, Wimbledon-winning Carlos Alcaraz revealed that he has been in touch with Jude Bellingham off late. Bellingham thanks to his brilliant performances for Los Blancos has turned out to be a fan favourite at the Bernabeu. Alcaraz is no different as in his latest interview, the Spaniard gave a glowing review of Bellingham as a player and as a person taking the internet by storm.

“I’m really happy to watch him play in Real Madrid,” said Alcaraz. “He’s such a great, talented player, one of the best in the world. I’m sure that he’s going to be the best player in the world in that position,” added the Spaniard about Bellingham’s future. “I’m just really, really happy to have him in the team. I talk a little bit with him. He’s such a great person, as well. He’s a complete guy,” concluded Alcaraz with a glowing praise on Bellingham’s personality.
