From the looks of it, the 7x Ballon d’Or winner has made Miami the ‘Mecca’ of celebrities. Notably, the Argentine now owns a luxury apartment in the same tower as NFL legend, Tom Brady.

In April, even pop icon, Shakira, moved to Miami with her children. Months after her breakup, she claimed to have wanted peace from the paparazzi while prioritizing her children’s wellbeing.

Little over a month ago, Lionel Messi moved with his family to Miami. He was gearing up to play for the next two-and-a-half years for David Beckham‘s soccer club Inter Miami. In the span of weeks, the soccer veteran managed to light the sport on fire in the US. On the weekend, he lifted his first-ever trophy with Inter Miami and it’s barely been a month since his arrival. Not only from a soccer perspective, but Messi is also famous all-around.

Reportedly, the World Cup winner resides in the Estates and Acqualina Tower which is in Sunny Islands. The soccer veteran isn’t the only renowned name to buy an apartment in that locality. Apart from NFL’s Tom Brady, even LeBron James owns a luxury apartment in the same tower. After his move to LA Lakers, he had to make a relocation but it suggests that the Akron Hammer could make a return to the Heat.

Interestingly, since Messi’s arrival, quite a few people have been discussing the increase in celebrity numbers in Miami. From the looks of it, the World Cup winner’s arrival seems to have made Miami the ‘Mecca‘ of celebrities.
