Before the highly anticipated game, Al Hilal coach Jorge Jesus praised his side for the win in the semi-finals despite being down to ten men. Jesus believes his team has played great so far and is ready for the finals.

“We played a tactically perfect game, while they had eleven players, we scored a goal and had two great chances. From the moment we were down to one, the game became more difficult, but in any case, the team was always well-positioned.”

“We ended up scoring two goals with one player less, we won fair and square, the players are to be congratulated. At the moment we are the team with the most goals scored, even without a spearhead. It will be my 24th final, congratulations to the Al Hilal players and the fans.”
