While Paris Saint Germain has been trying to offload Marco Verratti from the club, things have taken a turn for the worst. The player has been sidelined from the team after manager Luis Enrique informed the player that he’d never play for the side with Enrique at the helm.
However, the negotiations between the player and a potential Saudi side have hit a brick wall after a person impersonated as his agent and kept both Verratti and the side in the dark.

“If the deal is so long for Verratti, it is because an agent pretended to be his official representative for weeks, in particular with Saudi leaders. Which delayed everything, made the player wait, and ultimately surely benefited Al-Arabi.”

Player agent Donato Di Campli recently spoke to a Spanish media outlet where he slammed PSG. The agent accused the side of blackmailing their players during negotiations and not allowing them any sense of freedom.
Campli said, “In Paris, the players are imprisoned. You never do what they want but the club; it’s a prison, and there’s blackmail. My experience with them is very bad. They only care about money. It’s a club that has no soul. They do not let out because the emir and Al Khelaifi think that everything is ‘buyable’, and that they can conquer the world only with money. But it has already been seen that it is not possible.”
The agent who represented Marco Verratti also added that PSG was the reason the player decided to part ways with him. Campli narrated that when he offered the player to Barcelona in the past, PSG was not too pleased and asked the player to part ways with his agent.
