Lionel Messi became the talk of the town after he became 5th highest-paid athlete in the US. With only a few days left for Messi’s debut, Inter Miami fans are hoping for the club’s seven-match losing streak to end.

There are several reports linking the Venezuelan striker with a transfer move to one of the most successful US clubs, LA Galaxy.

Martínez compiled an extensive list of accomplishments in his six seasons with Atlanta. Furthermore, he became the first MLS player to win All-Star, regular season, and MLS Cup MVP honors in the same season.
Indeed, several fans went baffling when Inter Miami first announced the signing of Josef Martinez. He also broke the league’s regular season scoring record of 27, back in 2018 and won MLS’ Golden Boot. Not to forget, Martinez was the league’s 12th-highest-paid player at $4.1 million last season.

Despite Martinez’s phenomenal achievements, the Miami team decided to dispense with his services. The 30-year-old player will be replaced by Inter Miami after big stars such as Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets’ arrival.
Indeed, the departure of the former MLS MVP came up as a shocking surprise for fans. However, the LA Galaxy might be interested in signing the MLS veterans, as per recent reports.
