Two nights ago, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals at the fag end of the match to help Al Nassr lift their maiden Arab Club Champions Cup. Unfortunately, the winner came at a cost. 5 minutes after the winner was scored, the former Real Madrid had to be stretchered off the field with an injury.

While manager Luis Castro hinted that the talisman will return soon, we haven’t had an update about him from Al Nassr and his camp. However, the intrigue around injury and recovery got cleared thanks to Georgina who put up a cute Instagram story earlier today.

He personally attends the gym five times a week, engaging in activities such as 25-30 minutes of cardio, high-intensity sprints, and focused weightlifting aimed at boosting muscle strength.

In total, the former Juventus striker dedicates three to four hours daily to his exercise routine. Earlier today, Georgina Rodriguez put up an Instagram story of her mirror selfie in the gym. In the photograph, one could spot Cristiano Ronaldo in one of his personal exercise routines. Hence we can surely say that Ronaldo’s return is imminent.

However one can only imagine what Ronaldo’s presence would have done for Al Nassr in their league opener against Al-Ittefaq. In the season opener, Al Nassr couldn’t finish their chances well. While hindsight is 20/20, one might wonder if Ronaldo regrets giving his all for a ‘friendly tournament’.

The Sports Minister of Saudi Arabia labels the Arab Club Champions Cup as a ‘friendly tournament’

Considering this was Ronaldo’s first trophy in a long time, the player and his fans were jubilant. However Saudi Arabian sporting minister’s ‘friendly tournament’ comment doused the fire of celebration in Cr7 fans. As the Arab Club Champions Cup concluded, the diplomat commented on the finals, noting that they turned out to be an all-Saudi affair. In response, the minister thanked the clubs for their competitive spirit despite being a friendly tournament.

“Despite it being considered a friendly tournament, there was serious competition in this championship,” said the diplomat.  He then wished everyone luck and success. “I wish success to all the Arab clubs and national teams, God willing, from His Highness and from myself.”
