Wrexham AFC and the community saw their fortunes change when Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club. It wasn’t easy at the start for them to get along with the hardcore fans of the club. But with time, their passion and generosity won over fans’ hearts.
The duo didn’t hesitate to make enormous contributions to the noble causes within the community. Recently their over $6,000 donation to the charity soccer game again brought smiles to the faces of the community. Days after their generosity, the charity game gets a new mascot.

His mother is also raising funds privately for the cause as Police FC. She intends to host a raffle on the night of July 1. Griff takes his treatment in the children’s ward of Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Griff’s family has raised over $2,000 to date, and Police FC has raised over $13,000. Of those $13,000, Reynolds and McElhenney donated $6,000. The funds intend to buy equipment and resources for the children’s ward that will help to treat children with chronic diseases.
