Messi recently guided his team to a remarkable win against FC Dallas in the round of 16. The skipper bagged two goals; the first one in the first seven minutes and the other one towards the end with an outstanding free-kick. His goal kept Miami in the tournament till the penalty shoot, which they eventually won.

After the match, Messi celebrated the win by posting the pictures on his Instagram and writing a caption. As translated by DeepL, “We fought until the last moment and in the end we got another victory! One more little step… Thanks to all the people of Dallas for the love.” Of course, his post drew a lot of congratulatory messages, including Suarez’s.
