English Premier League is estimated to be valued at $11.39 billion. No other league comes close to it. Although the country hasn’t positioned itself as the best on the international stage, it remains highly lucrative when it comes to the country’s first-tier league. The biggest reason behind the success of the PL is that it has a larger global audience than any other league. Per a report, the average annual viewership for Premier League matches is 4.7 billion.

The Premier League is also the most demanding league in the world in terms of physicality. The players are stronger and bulky, they make more rough tackles, and you have more matches to play in a single season with 2 domestic cups to contend for and to top it all, the laundry list of clubs that are out to get you.
