It was certainly a strange moment that occurred at Leo Messi‘s latest game against LAFC in Los Angeles. In attendance, was none other than British Royal family’s  Prince Harry. Representing his family, of sorts, was Brooklyn Beckham, son of Inter Miami owner David Beckham. After the game, Prince Harry was escorted by his bodyguards and it appeared like he completely ignored Brooklyn Beckham and his partner Nicola Peltz.

This incident has added more fuel to the fire about rumors that Prince Harry has cut off friendly ties with the Beckham family, with Meghan Markle removing Victoria Beckham from her group of close friends. The Sussesxes feel the Beckhams leaked information, which has left the former Manchester United icon ‘furious.’

As the video that was posted on X reveals, Prince Harry was seen awkwardly walking past Brooklyn and his partner Nicola, while leaving the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. It is, however, unclear whether the awkward moment was deliberate.

It’s uncertain if both parties acknowledged each other and still proceeded to ignore each other or whether they missed recognizing each other altogether as Prince Harry’s bodyguards ushered him out of the area.

According to a report in the media outlet Page Six, this latest incident has further led to rumors that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have ended their friendship with the Beckham family. The Page Six report suggests that the issues arose because Prince Harry and Meghan accused the Beckhams of leaking stories about them to the press.

Away from the drama off the pitch, it was an important win for David Beckham’s Inter Miami on the night. The Miami club won 3-1 in a game, where they outplayed LAFC all over the pitch.

Mercurial Messi was at it again as he helped his new club secure the win, with two assists to his name.  The second goal of the game was, perhaps, the pick of the bunch. It saw the three former Barcelona stars, who now play for Inter Miami all combine in a swift move to make it 2-0.

Sergio Busquets played a smart pass to Messi from midfield. Messi then turned and played a delightful incisive through ball for Jordi Alba, who was making a run on the overlap. The left-back duly finished making it 2-0 to the visitors.

Miami’s 3rd goal of the game also involved Messi as he made another assist to striker Leonardo Compano. It started with a breakaway after a mistake from an LAFC defender near the halfway line. Messi was through as he pounced on the ball but unselfishly put it on a plate for striker Compano, who finished the move.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Messi once again led Miami to victory. This win puts the club on 25 points after 25 games in 14th place as they bid to qualify for the playoffs. They have 2 games in hand and are 8 points off the 9th place playoff spot. DC United are in 9th, on 33 points. If Messi and company continue their run, Inter Miami could make it to the playoffs after all.
