The skipper was in good form but failed to convert it for his national side. With Ronaldo set to feature in Al Nassr’s upcoming fixture, fans will be hoping that he picks up where he left off before international duty.

Al Nassr accept Al-Qadisiyah’s offer for Muhammad Qasim

With the Saudi transfer window still active, Al Nassr is looking at some outgoings, after having brought in the likes of Sadio Mane and Alex Telles. The Riyadh club has approved the transfer of Muhammad Qasim, with the defender set to drop divisions. Saudi Roshen League side Al-Qadisiyah have been eager to rope in the left-back in hopes of strengthening their squad.

Muhammad Qasim, who was on a three-year contract at Al Nassr, refused to switch to the lower division earlier in the transfer window. However, the lack of game time in the top flight has forced the player to agree to Al-Qadisiyah’s terms.

Al-Qadisiyah will be hoping to complete the deal before the deadline day to secure the player’s services. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo will be making an early return to Al Nassr following his poor spell with Portugal in the Euro Qualifiers.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be eager to make a return for his club side. The 5x Ballon d’Or winner has made an early trip to Riyadh after he was suspended for a game for his rash challenge against Slovakia’s Martin Dubravka. Ronaldo has been the top scorer so far in this campaign of the Saudi Pro League. The Portuguese has netted six goals for his side and will be looking to increase the tally.

Al Nassr will be up against the challenge of Al Raed in their upcoming match. Ronaldo and Al Nassr are currently placed sixth on the points table and should have an easy outing against Al Raed, who are placed 14th, and are struggling to find form.
