Lionel Messi spotted playing Padel Tennis after more than two years
Lionel Messi is a man of great talent. Many don’t know this but the seven-time Ballon d’Or is a huge paddle tennis aficionado. Back in 2021, Leo gave an interview to Spanish publication Olé, where the G.O.A.T. expressed his love for paddle tennis. He said how he doesn’t play it much with his friend Pepe Costa but enjoys it nonetheless.

“I like to play paddle tennis, Pepe Costa is good, I run and he puts in the quality. We don’t play much either, but I like it,” said the Barca legend. After more than two years, the G.O.A.T was seen playing paddle tennis again.

Earlier today, Pepe Costa took to Instagram to share pictures of Messi’s latest sparring session with him. He captioned the photo in a cheeky manner by inviting people to challenge the duo for the sport.
“We are looking for rivals for Padel, whoever wants to play just hit us up,” said Pepe.
Number one padel player praises Cristiano Ronaldo for his padel skills
Last month, Cristiano Ronaldo flew all the way to Singapore to participate in a padel tennis exhibition match. The Real Madrid legend faced a host of opponents including youngsters from Victoria Junior College. After the match, he also interacted with state diplomacy – Minister of Culture, Community and Youth Edwin Tong and the Minister of Human Resources, Tan See Leng.

The Al Nassr player later took to Instagram to share photographs from his exhibition match. World number 1 padel player Juan Lebron took this opportunity to issue words of appreciation for the legend. Lebron commented Hay Cositas,” which means, “There are little things,” as a mark of appreciation.
