Cristiano Ronaldo is gearing up to travel to China in the upcoming January break. Reportedly, he will play 2 games in the Asian country. This news came after Lionel Messi and Inter Miami’s China tour was canceled because of various reasons. It looks like the Asian country will get to witness the Argentine icon’s arch-rival in their country. From the looks of it, this is an opportunity for the Chinese soccer federation to show the revival of the sport in recent years.
The exact schedule of the friendlies is not yet known for the Al Nassr team. However, it will help the soccer icon to remain fit as the Saudi-based club has a fixture gap next year in January.

Inter Miami were all set to play in 2 friendlies in China as a part of their off-season tour in November. However, the organizers had to cancel the tour because of several setbacks. This also led to the soccer fans being disappointed as they could have got the opportunity to watch Lionel Messi play in their country. It looks like the disappointment for the soccer fans is going to turn into happiness as Ronaldo will now play in the friendlies in the country.
According to reports, Al Nassr has agreed to tour China to play 2 friendlies. This is because the Saudi Pro League will take a break because of the Asian Cup. This allows Al Nassr to travel to promote their team in the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in Asia. The tour also makes sense for the club financially. The Saudi Pro side will receive more than $10 million. They will play one friendly against a Chinese club and another match against all-stars from the league.
