After Breaking Ties With Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, David Beckham Backed for $10 Billion Takeover

There’s no denying that life after soccer has been quite favorable for David Beckham. He has made a successful transition from being a soccer player to a model and then as a savvy entrepreneur. The Mancunian’s investment portfolio is already extensive. But now DB7 is poised to further fortify his financial empire with a substantial $10 billion takeover.

Beckham has already invested in two soccer clubs, Salford City and Inter Miami, enjoying decent success with both. However, he may be on the verge of adding another club to his portfolio.

David Beckham tipped for an atrocious $10 billion takeover

Recently, the owners of Manchester United, the Glazer family, revealed their intention to sell the club. Reports suggest that the Red Devils are seeking a record £8 billion or $10 billion for the sale. Former Irish soccer star, Frank McAvennie, believes that David Beckham is the ideal candidate to take over the Premier League side and his boyhood club, Manchester United.

While speaking to Football Insider, he said, “I think Beckham has got a love of the game. He has got the best interest at heart. I think he loves football. He will have a consortium with people who have very deep pockets.”

He continued, “I think it would be a catch for him to go back to Man United because he loves the club and he would have the best interests of the club at heart.”

McAvennie says Beckham will take care of the soccer side, while he will let other businessmen look after the club. The Celtic legend claimed this is why things are working well with Inter Miami. Previously, former defender and United icon, Rio Ferdinand, had speculated that the Miami co-owner might be considering a bid to acquire the Premier League giants with a consortium.

It’s quite an opportunity for Beckham. While the soccer side of things seems to be going well for Becks, off the pitch there have been many hurdles.  Notably, the end of his friendship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Recent reports indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have alleged that the Beckhams were leaking confidential information. This accusation greatly angered the soccer legend, who was reportedly extremely upset.

According to these reports, Meghan has even excluded the former Spice Girl from her inner circle of close friends. This conflict is believed to have cast a shadow over all the positive moments they had previously enjoyed together. Given the present circumstances, it appears highly unlikely that the two couples will be able to repair their relationship.
