Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool touch might just be worth its weight in gold. Reynolds and co-owner Rob McElhenney have turned Wrexham AFC‘s fortune around ever since their takeover of the club. But it doesn’t stop at the soccer club. According to recent reports, the actor has endorsed a few local businesses in the UK, which have, in turn, boosted the businesses severalfold.

This comes after the Hollywood pair’s takeover of Wrexham gave North Wales a $1,270,940,000 boost in business and tourism. And this is something that the local region’s prominent persons seem to echo.

Coventry City FC may be Wrexham’s rivals. But Reynolds has helped a Coventry-based bike manufacturer. As per a report in the Telegraph, Reynolds endorsed a bike manufacturing company from Coventry called Arc.  According to the report, Reynolds posted an Instagram story on his account, about a bike that he bought from the company, saying it was the “coolest” bike he’s ever ridden. The company’s chairman Mark Truman has since revealed that sales and inquiries of the company’s bikes have increased considerably since the Deadpool star’s post.

Reynolds bought a custom-made version of the Arc Vector: an electric motorbike that reportedly cost $120,000 and has a top speed of around 125mph. Reynolds further added in his story that he was “giggling the whole ride”, while riding the bike.

According to a quote in the Telegraph report by Arc’s chairman Truman about Ryan Reynolds buying the bike, he added: “He didn’t want to jump the queue. And he wanted to pay full price. Ryan told us that ‘the bike blew his mind’.”

The company was so delighted by Reynolds’ post about their Arc motorbikes that they published a post to thank the Hollywood star as well.

This comes as no surprise considering Reynolds’ positive comments about the company’s motorcycles. And his publicity of the company’s electric bikes has led to more business and a wider reach for the small motorbike manufacturer. Reynolds’ endorsements don’t stop there.

Ryan Reynolds also endorsed an Indian restaurant last year

The Hollywood actor earlier gave his opinion about an obscure Indian restaurant. Reynolds loved the food at the restaurant so much that he decided to post about it.

The report in the Telegraph also suggests that following Wrexham AFC’s 5-0 win over Maidstone United last season, the actor visited the small restaurant in Ellesmere Port called the Light Of India Curry House.

After dining at the restaurant, Reynolds took to social media with a post that said that the restaurant served, “the best Indian food in Europe.” Following Reynolds’ post, the restaurant gained popularity and started receiving a huge flurry of orders. The owners of the restaurant told the Telegraph that they “‘might rename a dish after him, the Deadpool masala or something.”
