Just a few weeks ago, Al Nassr, the team Cristiano Ronaldo plays for, received a transfer ban from soccer’s apex authority, FIFA. They have been reportedly stripped of the financial support to make any new signings. But with the signing ban in place, the Jeddah-based club is looking to sell their $8M rated star to a Rival Club.
Al Nassr has signed some of the renowned names in this transfer window. The Saudi side is looking to cut down on its roster of foreign players. The rules of the AFC Champions League allow teams to have six foreign players; one of them must be Asian.

The club has acquired non-Asian players like Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio, Sadio Mane, and Aymeric Laporte in the summer transfer window. Additionally, they have Anderson Talisca on the team.
Ghislain Konan, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr teammate, is preparing to depart from the club to sign with the rival Saudi Pro League team, Al-Fayha. The team needed to release one player, and because of Alex Telles’ presence, Konan no longer has a guaranteed spot on the team.

Al-Nassr was a contender for the league title last season but is facing a challenging start this year. The team’s performance has been disappointing, with two consecutive defeats at the start.
