Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) chairman Turki Alalshikh has recently announced the details of the ‘Riyadh Season’. The fourth edition of the global entertainment event will kick off on October 28.

Taking it to X, Turki Alalshikh, posted a video with the caption, “Big Time”. It’s the slogan for this year’s Riyadh Season. The country has now roped Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most famous athletes in the world, into the role of Ambassador.

In recent years, Saudi Arabia has actively promoted its entertainment industry by organizing concerts, theaters, competitions, and theatrical performances, attracting diverse audiences domestically and internationally to promote cultural and entertainment activities within the Kingdom.

The opening night of ‘Riyadh Season’ will feature the boxing showdown between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. They are dubbing the fight as ‘Battle of the Baddest’. Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo promoted the event in a post.

Cristiano Ronaldo brims with excitement for the epic showdown set to take place in Saudi Arabia. He recently shared a post from Turki Alalshikh, the Saudi adviser and owner of UD Almeria, who is also spearheading the event. Ronaldo’s Instagram story even gave fans a sneak peek, featuring Fury, Turki, and Ngannou posing together in anticipation of  ‘The Battle of the Baddest’.

In this highly anticipated event, Tyson Fury will be defending his heavyweight title.  He’s held the heavyweight title since 2020. Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou will be making his boxing debut after leaving UFC. Fury is coming from a victorious December 2022 fight, where he secured a 10th-round knockout, and remarkably, he remains undefeated in his illustrious 34-fight career.
