But Ronaldo is now showing his entrepreneurial skills with a proactive approach to lighten up the employees and staff of his new firm, Cofina Media. Days after acquiring the media firm, Ronaldo announced a bonus of 1250 euros for his employees, according to a report.

Ronaldo also communicated with the staff and thanked them for being a part of the enterprise in their magnificent efforts to keep it going. The Portuguese star and his partners acknowledged the employees via email, saying, “Gratitude to all those who are part of this great company and who every day sweat their shirts for it.

According to the report, Ronaldo also gave them the liberty to cover his professional and private life. This includes his life with his partner and children when the need arises. Usually, Ronaldo does not involve himself much in media-related decisions, but this time the star took the opportunity to provide a cushion for the reporters. Even though this is just one of his investments, Cofina Media is Ronaldo’s first dive into the media industry.

Ronaldo invests millions in his media firm

Cristiano Ronaldo’s businesses include hospitality, fitness, fashion, and hair studios. But earlier this year, reports suggested the Portuguese icon bid for a 30% stake in Cofina Media, a Portuguese media house. However, his acquisition news came out a couple of days ago. The Al Nassr Star reportedly invested $61 million via Expressão Livre, an investment group to buy a portion of it.

The media group is home to various sub-outlets, like Correio da Manhã, Record, and Jornal de Negócios. This is also the same media group that Ronaldo had a tussle with, especially during Euro 2016. Ronaldo threw the microphone of a CMTV journalist after the latter asked him about his game preparation. Ronaldo was on tenterhooks with CMTV and even tried to sue it earlier for its reporting on him.

Nevertheless, a new day awaits for Ronaldo and the media firm as they look to aim for bigger and better things.
